The company was founded in 2012 by Grace Lee in Brooklyn, New York, as an in-home visiting tutor service. Meet the Founder and Leading Tutor

Grace Lee is a former New York City teacher with experience teaching in both the New York City public and Independent school systems. Her background in the classroom gives her a deep understanding of academic standards, curriculum expectations, and the challenges students face at different grade levels.

As a classroom teacher, Grace taught a variety of science courses, including Biology, Physical Science, and Chemistry. She has also worked as an educational consultant on multiple curriculum writing projects, further strengthening her expertise in effective instruction and assessment. In addition to science, Grace enjoys teaching math and tutors students in Math K–6, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry, as well as test prep.
